The Motorists web series is focussed on vintage cars, driven by Dave and Benny. The former a restoration expert, the latter the ‘rain man’ of motoring!
Typically each episode would be shot over an entire day and required full time sync, multicam and editing across 6 cameras.
A key challenge was ‘finding the story’ within each edit and balancing the content for both the casual viewer and die hard enthusiast.

Short Form Stories
With so much material left on the cutting room floor we began producing ‘stories’ - Tall tales or deep dives on a subject, often with historical significance.
This material kept the audience engaged and the YouTube algorithm happy with the frequency of content being posted.
I managed the YouTube channel, interacting with the passionate and highly opinionated audience. A nice change from typical client interaction!
