Skyviper V2900 Pro

3D animation

I was called on to produce an 8 second CG section of the promo for the SkyViper v2900 Pro drone. The brief was to 'explode' the drone in an aesthetically pleasing way, while showing the three key features: Panoramic lens, on board GPS and brushless motors.

Supplied with CAD data I created a custom HDRI from on set footage, optimized the model for Cinema 4D, added extra modelling detail, textured, lit and animated the piece and following some extra polish in After Effects delivered to one, very happy client!

Rendered using Octane render which was fantastic for quickly iterating through differing lighting setups.
